Научные направления лаборатории эволюционной геномики:


  • разработка и внедрение новых технологий "глубокого" или масштабного параллельного секвенирования геномов, эпигеномов и клеточных транскриптов;

  • эволюционные исследования человека и животных с использованием древней ДНК;

  • генетические анализы по ДНК из исторических или криминалистических образцов;

  • функция и эволюция белок-кодирующих генов и некодирующих генов регуляторной РНК, роль и механизмы ускоренной молекулярной эволюции и компенсаторных взаимодействий;

  • популяционные исследования генов, ответственных за поведенческие аспекты и патологии поведения;

  • идентификация генов редких наследственных заболеваний;

  • разработка клеточных моделей и моделей животных (например, нематода С. еlegans) и РНК-технологий для модулирования нейродегенераций или регенерации;

  • исследование генетической природы долголетия и болезней старения.
